“I left your office feeling as if I had put my care in the hands of someone with a genuine concern for the welfare of his patients.”
Another Year Has Ended - a letter from Dr. Drucker
Another year has ended-time seems to be moving so quickly. Have you noticed that also?
On a personal note my third child is now married. My oldest son is expecting a child this spring. This little person will join my two little granddaughters whose art work is already covering my walls. My “little” guy graduates from college this year and so there is an end in sight for tuition payments.
On a professional note we are proud of being honored, once again, by Stout Street & the Lion’s Club, for our work in providing eye exams for those in need. EyeCare America has also recognized our efforts & service to the community. Our work with the Veterans Administration continues and has broadened with our affiliation with Veterans Evaluation Services.
It is always a pleasure to be able to expand our efforts into the community.
MyOptics had an exciting year. They were awarded a prestigious CHANEL account that was celebrated with a personalized client showing. The Prada Sport product joined our Prada line. The fun styles of Ray Ban have joined our sunglasses lines of Maui Jim, Oakley & Mosley Tribes. Our Maui Jim trunk show featured pineapple drinks & macadamia nuts as well as the entire collection of the sunglass styles of Maui Jim. We are pleased that Neal Simkowitz joined Linda Haas & Rachel Smith Temmer on our staff.
Our Medical Spa features the lovely & relaxing facials of our licensed aesthetician & laser technician, Sarah Heinrich. She is extremely knowledgeable about skin care and can design individualized treatments plans.
I want to thank my hard working staff for their efforts. Medicine is moving in an interesting direction. We try very hard to work with you on making the best decisions for your eye health. Of course dealing with insurance companies is another thing-our senior bookkeepers –Becky & Rickie are happy to help you make some sense out of all this. Hats off to the ladies in the front, Priscilla and Kristy, who check you in (hopefully always with a smile). Maggie, our surgical scheduler, works closely with our patients for all their surgical scheduling needs.
Thanks to our hard working ophthalmic technicians-Bob, Brandy & Kathy. Bob has been with me more years than either wants to admit to!
Best wishes for a great 2011.
David Drucker
